Miss US Nation Pageants hosted the Miss Florida US Nation 2026 pageant at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables, bringing together contestants, industry professionals, judges and special guests for an afternoon celebrating confidence, ambition and new opportunities for women representing Florida.
The event provided contestants from across the state with an opportunity to compete for the Miss Florida US Nation 2026 title and advance within the Miss US Nation Pageants system. The organization’s pageant experience extends beyond competition, providing titleholders with opportunities involving fashion, media, community engagement and professional development, including appearances and participation in Super Chic Fashion Week runway opportunities.
Contestants Compete for the Miss Florida US Nation 2026 Title
The event was hosted by Nicole Oliver, who represented the organization at the time as Mrs. Dutchess County US Nation and now holds the title of Mrs. New York US Nation. Oliver guided guests through the afternoon’s program and competition.
Behind the scenes, a glam team organized by Sheridan Technical College prepared contestants for the stage. Under the direction of Sophia Johnson, a master hairstylist and instructor at Sheridan Technical College, the team included Ava Montero, Jasmine Proctor, April Gonzalez, Maria Camila Vasquez Restrepo, Victorya Arango, Lissusan Cabrera, Fareeda Rodriguez and Lorretta Mobley.
The contestants were evaluated by a panel representing leadership, sports, fitness and the beauty industry. Judges included Mario Signorello, founder of the Caribbean Baseball Organization; Genoveva Esquivel Ifill, bodybuilding and fitness coach; and Fareeda Rodriguez, professional cosmetologist.
The judging process considered contestants’ confidence, communication skills, presentation and potential to represent the Miss US Nation organization.
Nicolette Fernandez Named Miss Florida US Nation 2026
At the conclusion of the competition, Nicolette Fernandez, representing the South-Central Florida area, was named Miss Florida US Nation 2026.
As the new titleholder, Fernandez will represent Florida throughout her reign and have opportunities to participate in fashion week and media experiences, make public appearances and engage with communities while preparing for the next level of competition within the Miss US Nation Pageants system.
Her selection marks the beginning of a new chapter focused on visibility, responsibility and opportunities at both the state and national levels.
Miss US Nation Pageants also recognized the contestants, judges, beauty professionals, production team and guests who contributed to the event.
The organization said the event was intended to celebrate not only the selection of a new titleholder but also the confidence and potential demonstrated by every contestant who participated in the Miss Florida US Nation 2026 competition.
